This project was funded by EQUAL though Cheshire and Warrington Business Venture. The program was a testing group to provide prisoners due for release shortly with work ready skills and health and wellbeing solutions and then provide `through the gate` support to help these women put into practice what they had learned.

We were very proud to be the tutors for the program and developed a number of workshops to be delivered both in group session and on a one to one basis. These included:

• Building Foundations to Cope with the Demands of Life
• Gaining Confidence and Reducing Stress through Exercise and Nutrition
• Success planning
• DISC profiling (advanced communication skills)
• Communication skills
• CV writing workshops
• Interview Skills
• Business planning
  

Our team’s knowledge and expertise allowed the delivery of `work ready skills` along with that of health and wellbeing to provide a consistent and focused approach.

This program was a success, the team over exceeded their target for getting women back in to either work or education and reducing re-offending.
